Situated in Carinthia, the southernmost province of Austria, our campsite is located at 800 meters above sea level in the picturesque mountain village of Malta. The breathtaking panoramic location is framed by the Hohe Tauern National Park and the NOCKBERGE Biosphere Park.

Category 1
Our category 1 pitches are located in terrace or edge location and offer everything that makes the camper’s heart beat faster. Here you can experience the beautiful nature up close without sacrificing comfort (supply, sewage and electricity available). They are suitable for any type of camping equipment.
Category 2
The category 2 pitches are located in a paradisiacal terrace and edge location and have electricity. They are especially suitable for tents and folding caravans.
Category 3
The category 3 pitches have electricity connection and are located either in the middle position or in the immediate vicinity of the busy street. So here you will experience the perfect mix of rest and activity. Category 3 pitches are particularly suitable for tents and folding caravans.

Our sanitary facility
At our Maltatal campsite we attach great importance to hygiene and cleanliness. Two modern equipped sanitary buildings, distributed on the campsite, provide optimal conditions for a relaxing vacation. Our sun-drenched, spacious panoramic oasis not only offers breathtaking views, but also features luxurious amenities including showers, toilets, washers, dryers, an infrared cabin and much more. Even for the smallest vacationers there is a baby washing cabin and for people with disabilities there is a barrier-free washing cabin. In this way we ensure that all our guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their vacation to the fullest.

Experience unforgettable vacations in the Malta Valley with a varied animation program! In the high season, we offer free daily tractor-drawn carriage rides, pony rides for children, animal feeding and much more. Sports enthusiasts get their money’s worth with guided mountain tours, Nordic walking, canyoning and taster climbing sessions. The more adventurous can take part in torch-lit hikes, while music enthusiasts are invited to live concerts by the Trachtenkapelle Malta .
