The Maltatal is located in the southernmost province of Austria, Carinthia, between the National Park HOHE TAUERN and the Biosphere Park NOCKBERGE.
NATURE PARADISE MALTATAL
The Malta Valley is located in the southernmost province of Austria, Carinthia, and forms the eastern entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park, which is considered the largest protected area in the Alps.
Welcome to our campsite Maltatal, which is located at 800 meters above sea level in the middle of nature. With a size of 3.5 hectares, it offers spacious pitches (80 – 110 m2), laid out on terraces, all with electricity. Most of the pitches also have direct supply and sewage connection.
The campsite is surrounded by shade trees and hedges that give a sense of privacy. Two sanitary buildings of the very latest standard guarantee you total camping comfort. If you arrive with your camper, a supply and disposal station is available.
Directly on site: restaurant & pizzeria with sunny outdoor terrace, store for daily needs (fresh pastries, newspapers etc.), heated outdoor pool with baby pool, children’s playground, petting zoo with ponies, three-wheeled track, table tennis, soccer pitch, dog run, sauna & steam bath, Wi-Fi throughout the site and TV room – major events are broadcast on a large screen via projector.
Our Maltatal campsite has received many awards from leading camping clubs such as ADAC, ANWB, ACSI and ECC and is also a DCC European Award winner.

Our sanitary facility
We attach great importance to hygiene and cleanliness at our Maltatal campsite. Two modern sanitary buildings, spread around the campsite, provide optimal conditions for a relaxing vacation. Our sun-drenched, spacious panoramic oasis not only offers a breathtaking view, but also has luxurious facilities, including showers, toilets, washing machines, dryers, an infrared cabin and much more. There is even a baby washing cubicle for the smallest holidaymakers and a barrier-free washing cubicle for people with disabilities. In this way, we ensure that all our guests feel at home and can enjoy their vacation to the fullest.
